Vashni professionally known as The Aquadice has been creating music for 10 years professionally. Vashni was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Her first taste of music was at the age of 4 when her late grandmother bought her piano lessons at the Mount Moriah center along with an upright piano. Vashni continued to play the piano throughout her childhood until her parents couldn't afford to pay for her lessons. Eventually Vashni's parents moved and left the duplex in East Memphis where Vashni once called home. Vashni was eager to join the band in middle school. Playing the alto and tenor saxophone was the experience that brought her and music partner Winston Guy together. Vashni was a new student and found herself bonding over Kanye West's Late Registration and sharing sheet music. They were the only two tenor saxophone players in the school. When starting college Vashni and Winston formed a music collective called D.O.P.E. Music (Dreams of Poets Elevating). This was Vashni's first time ever using recording equipment in 2011. Vashni would travel back and forward to Middle TN University building relationships with other creatives from surrounding areas. Vashni's first time using Logic as a DAW was introduced by fellow Memphis native and Multi-Platinum Producer ThankGod4Cody. This was the beginning of the musical journey that led Vashni to producing and writing for acts like Doja Cat, Ye Ali, and many more. In 2013 Vashni changed her artist and producer name to "The Aquadice". Soon after taking on the aquatic persona Vashni crafted a unique ambient wave that has influenced a lot of today's sound. Vashni later enrolled in school for audio engineering at Visible Music College in Memphis from 2012-2014. As The Aquadice began to make a name for herself working with Ye Ali & Lyfe Harris and joining Vintage Club as a producer. This was the start to Aquadice's music production career. In 2016 Aquadice was asked to produce projects in Atlanta and New York for various artists which landed her on TV performing at SOB's in New York. In 2017 Aquadice gained placements with VH1 and was chosen for a placement in the Netflix film "Uncorked" based in her hometown of Memphis in 2019. Aquadice has written and executive produced projects for many artists after moving to Dallas, TX to create from the ground up with a close friend and artist Thottie Jay. There work together led to 2 offers from major record labels. Aquadice is ready to return using 2020-2022 to craft the aquatic masterpiece Underwater Penthouse. This will be Vashni's 3rd ep release as The Aquadice. Vashni is now living in Dallas running her clothing brand and event space as a young entrepreneur and mogul in the making. Aquadice does not plan to slow up in the near future, tap into the wave.
